A Postcard to the World at Canada Water Library

This time last year the UK streets were building up Olympic fever as the symbolic Flame was transported from town to town on its way to the majestic Olympic Park in Stratford, East London.

At the same time CoolTan Arts were embarking on a pan-London project, including a series of workshops and exhibitions called 'A Postcard to the World'. This diverse project, with international reach, aimed to give participants the chance to create original postcard artwork, sharing their thoughts and feelings about London 2012.

One year on and lots of amazing postcards later.. we are now weeks away from the final exhibition which will take place at Canada Water Library from the 26th July, exactly one year on from the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics and the start of this project! The exhibition will review the artwork created throughout the last year and explore opinions of the legacy of the Games.

The team are now in the final stages of producing what will be a great finale to this exciting project which we will be sharing with you here. We hope that you will come and visit the exhibition and share your thoughts on the legacy of the Games with us too!

For those of you that may be interested in getting more involved and sharing your own thoughts as part of our film documentary click here get in touch as we would love to hear from you..
